The next Florida VOAD meeting will be its annual meeting held in conjunction with the Governor's Hurricane Conference, Fort Lauderdale. The Conference wil be held at the Broward County Convention Center from Sunday, May 10 through Friday, May 15.
The Florida VOAD Annual Meeting will take place on May 14, 2004 from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
Highlights of the Annual Meeting will be a review of the past year, important annoucnements for the upcoming year, the challenges of disaster recovery, and the election of officers for the 2009-2010 year.
There will also be a presentation on the National VOAD Annual Conference and the need for volunteers. Florida VOAD was selected to host the 2010 Conference, now scheduled for May, 2010 at the HIlton in Downtown Disney. |
